Weekend Workshops: Carnival Session 1: August 28, 29 & 30, 2009 Boston, MA Session 2: September 12, 13 & 19, 2009 Cambridge, MA Can’t make it to Rio or Trinidad for Carnival or to New Orleans for Mardi Gras? Join FotoMundo’s intensive weekend workshops in Boston and Cambridge, MA, to fill your frames with spectacular images of the Caribbean without purchasing a plane ticket. Both Boston’s Caribbean Carnival and the Cambridge Carnival feature performers in brightly-colored costumes with plumed headdresses and sparkling sequins. In Boston, revelers march from Martin Luther King Blvd. in Roxbury to Franklin Park, and the Cambridge Carnival parade heads from Central Square to Kendall Square. We will have an intensive class the day prior to the festivities to prepare you for taking exciting action shots as well as to discuss how to approach performers to make beautiful portraits. On the day of the parade, our instructors will be on the parade route to assist with any questions that may arise. We will reconvene for an editing class.
